My favorite character on NBC’s “Parks & Recreation” is Donna. Who’s generally quiet, observer demeanor really punctuates her funny outbursts and her ridiculously confident remarks. Comedian, Retta Sirleaf is a good example of one good thing that the faux reality show style hath wrought: normal looking people, with real personalities who just happened to be funny.
A friend of mine referred to her as “Drag Queen inspiration”.
Removing the pit project as the focal point was the best thing this show could have possibly done between seasons 1 and 2. Now we can focus on the personalities of ALL the characters — not just Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones.
